They arent wasting their time on frivolous things and know what theyre doing! The Supreme Courts decision on Friday was about timing and to take J6 story pressure away from the GOBers. Yet, they planned on resuming the hearings the 2nd week in July. Low and behold, the Committee announces an important hearing for tomorrow afternoon! Nice play!

(34,109 posts)to be a Democrat, always. I have not always been proud of the way they do things but, of course, put it down to they know the plays and I do not. It has been really frustrating at times.
This is a fine tuned decision, the way it is being run, the issues brought up when they are brought up, it is all just been perfect in my eyes. I really know nothing at all about how this all gets done in the best way but as far as I can see this looks like it has been put together by the best and the others have let them do it this time because they really do know how. The use of Republicans has been surprising, this is really what we need. I have never been a big bipartisan person. I believe in my people and what we stand for and though I know we need the other side I have never appreciated that part of the game. If we lose this then there was never any winning available and our fight changes.

(13,510 posts)decided to have a hearing this week. Thought taking a two week break was far to long. Yes I realize part of the reason they are doing this is they have new pressing information they want to present to the public.
