Biden May Nominate Anti-Abortion Lawyer For Judgeship

Political Wire

President Biden may nominate a conservative, anti-abortion lawyer for a lifetime judgeship in Kentucky as part of a deal with Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), the Louisville Courier-Journal reports.

In return, McConnell would agree to not hold up any future federal nominations by the Biden White House.

And at this point Mitch is just sitting back and chuckling.

I will always wonder why folks accept and then promulgate Republican sourced "reports" that Democrats "may" do something.

"Reported", "may", "future" ... sounds like

Why is the story line that Biden may do something in the future if the Democrats lose the Senate and a federal judicial vacancy in Kentucky opens up making the rounds?

Who benefits?
Cui bono?

So an anonymous source (cough - Mitch McConnel - cough) starts a divisive whisper campaign, Political Wire picks up the "report" that Biden "may do something in the future" for the inevitable clicks, and it all finds its way here.

and the snake (Mitch McConnell) is already sitting back comfortably, popcorn in hand, watching the show.

It never ceases to amaze me that folks accept and then promulgate Republican sourced "reports" that Democrats "may" do something.
