Speaker Pelosi's invisble hand behind the J6 Committee hearings?

I am almost certain that it is she who is calling the shots on the witnesses and who is going to do the questioning? It is Speaker Pelosi who has determined that they will "prosecute" their case with almost all Republicans. It removes a major weapon from Trump and the Republicans' hands, the one of "partisan" biases. Behind the scenes, it will be shown that Nancy Pelosi was maneuvering the Committee in a brilliant, non-partisan fashion.

In the end, Liz Cheney may get most of the positive press from the Hearings, but Nancy Pelosi is pulling a lot of strings behind the scenes, in my opinion.

asked, but I don't believe she is pulling the strings--at all.

Look who is on the committee (not to mention the unparalleled support of their hired counsel members). I can't imagine Pelosi feeling the need to micromanage them...

She made sure the most effective people were put on the committee, and she kept off those who are subjects of their investigation. But, I highly doubt she's micromanaging things at this point. She's smart enough to put people there who know what they're doing, and they're handling things just fine without any "invisible hand."

The OP implies that Pelosi is some kind of puppet-master manipulating Benny Thompson and the J6 Committee. I think that's the furthest thing from the truth. She's been very insistent that the committee be independent. I think that she's being kept in the loop, but she trusts Thompson and Liz to run the show.

...but that she is a very clever and astute politician that is informed and advised of every decision made by the J6 Committee leaders. She has complete faith in the abilities of Benny Thompson and Liz Cheney, in my opinion.

…is smart enough to know how to proceed without Pelosi stage-managing things from behind the scenes.

Plus, this theory can easily be spun into a right-wing narrative, where this whole investigation is really a witch hunt being secretly dictated from above by their favorite boogeywoman.

As such... I expect she would pick the best team for a given job and let them do their thing. As long as things are going as expected, you leave them to their job. I think things are going better than expected.

most of them are lawyers. Speaker Pelosi is not leading the committee. IMO, the chairman and Vice Chairperson Bennie and Liz, are leading the committee.

No one has gone after Donald Trump more than Liz Cheney. Trump is working to get Cheney defeated in the primary and she is working to get Trump an orange jump suit.

Just imagine where we would be if Speaker Pelosi had not formed this committee. This committee's #1 function is to push DOJ to indict
Trump and his inner circle.
