The Supreme Court has replaced the Senate.

The Democrats in the House have passed hundreds of bills that would transform our country for the better. They were all blocked by the Senate filibuster.

When the Republicans control the House they pass crazy bills which are blocked by the Senate filibuster. The Senate has become useless.

Because of this the Republicans are now bypassing congress and using the Court to pass laws.

The Democrats must educate the public on this major problem.

1. I'm hoping this will show congress in general that they have to pass bills

Yes right now we don’t have the votes but next year we will for sure in the senate. We must pass every bill even bills that “aren’t necessary” today. Like codifying gay marriage, birth control, abortion, etc.

"You are now governed by a secretive and unaccountable junta in long black robes, and there are going to be some changes around here."

The Senate was conceived to be a body of government that was purposely deliberative.

IOW, it was a place for careful consideration of proposed legislation, to protected against the whims of the public (like The House).

There had to be debate, compromise, bipartisanship.

Here's the rhetorical question: How do you compel a body to work together when one part refuses to do so?

17. There are 2 republicans running for office and the one who wins . . .

the state legislators don't want and would be able to overturn said election and state courts can not intervene. Even white people will not like that outcome. Their election ability would be null and void. Their "freedoms" would be compromised.

As to any Democrat or other party that is not GQP approval would very likely never obtain any political office within the state nor outside.

18. There will always be voting. After all, we are the bestest democracy in the world.

Whether the results of that voting will be counted in the future remains to be seen. If GQP controlled legislatures decide that any election they lose is fraudulent and they nullify it, then it just makes our democracy more perfecter!

or at least get their crazed view of the world enacted. Even with gerrymandering and flooding money into elections/voter suppression.

They’ve always seen the Supreme Court as the key. That’s why they saw Trump in a savior way.

of course the legislative branch should kick in, but alas it's also being compromised as well. Again a fail safe procedure hopefully can take place.

Well this was explained to me.
