If TFG gets indicted, what charge(s) do you think he'll face?

Treason would be my vote but I doubt DOJ will pursue that. Maybe if there’s various degrees. Sedition comes up next, and various conspiracy charges. I don’t know the specifics for various charges. But I suspect he’ll be charged with a lesser crime than deserved. But there might be separate state charges, he’s certainly earned them.

I’d also like to see him suffer greatly financially. There’s plenty there to look at, I’d like to see him and family broke after all the grifting they’ve done.

I actually think there will be several indictments in several jurisdictions. We only need one or two to convict.

Possibly seditious conspiracy, but only as a supplement to the fraud and obstruction charges.

Although deserved, Incitement charge unlikely only because it’s tricky to convict.

Not a chance for a treason charge.

That’s federally, statewise, at least election tampering and some charge for intimidating/threatening public officials in GA.

Certainly more charges possible depending on what else emerges from pulling all the threads linked to the fraudulent electors scheme, both federally and in each state.

Based upon recent statements in the media of purloined classified documents appearing at his residence in Florida.

Easier to prove, while it would be gratifying to see more serious charges of which there are many to choose from.

.. of an official government proceeding, for starters.

Hopefully they could come up with a few other charges to add.

All of the above appear likely to get a conviction. There's plenty of evidence and I am assuming that what the public has seen only scratches the surface. This is just related to the insurrection.

Then there's witness tampering, attempted extortion (Georgia), obstruction, and more obstruction. Once he's been indicted we can be sure to add perjury to the list because he can't open his piehole without lying.

Mail fraud, tax evasion, racketeering, for his longtime crimes, and whatever NY is investigating. And crimes in Georgia, and whatever states he tried to steal.

I agree that sedition and conspiracy are more likely than treason related to 1/6, but I just want to see him charged and there is so much he's guilty of.

I am mindful that this is something we haven't experienced here in the USA before. There's no precedent, and such a mixture of criminality that it's taken so long to unravel it, see what it is. There's what we know and what we can prove. We've been gathering evidence and proof, and what's being uncovered seems unimaginable. The rot is spread deep and wide.

Sedition and conspiracy to commit various crimes would be my best guess for 1/6 charges.

Not going to change it back at this point. Good lesson to xmcheck spelling but I don’t like that function on DU

Ashli Babbitt plus the four dead police officers.

Quite a few charges related to improper handling of classified information.

Illegally diverting Pentagon funds to his flimsy wall.

Land snatching might be fun.

Lots of sedition charges.

Break out the RICO laws, environmental laws, whatever laws you like.

However…as long as it puts him in the can for 350 years I don’t care if they bust him for littering.
