fertilization stores, say, six fertilized eggs, can they claim all of the frozen blastospheres as dependents on their tax returns?
If so, is there a time limit or just as long as they remain properly frozen?

(4,533 posts)Mosquitos are life. If life begins at conception so what? I do not think people should suffer greatly to preserve the life of a mosquito. Just because life begins at conception does not justify a ban on abortion. An early stage fetus has zero capacity to feel or know so its survival does not justify making a person suffer. We need to minimize suffering, not maximize life.

(3,784 posts)Someone please ban all "pro-lifers" from getting cancer treatments, please. A tumor is every bit as much a "person" as a clump of cells after 6 weeks.
I'm also baffled about these "heartbeat" bills. That pulsating sound you hear on ultrasound is NOT a heartbeat. I'd love to hear a "pro-lifer" explain to me how a clump of cells that has not yet developed a HEART can have a heartbeat.
