Wild speculation, but if not Joe in 2024 (for whatever reason) then who?

Any Democrat over any Republican of course, but a lot of talk lately about President Biden stepping aside.

How about Michelle Obama? If she wants it, she'd be perfect.

If you're going to support her, you might as well learn her name, I'd think.

Newsome and Pritzker would be right behind Pete on my list. Fortunately, 3 others will get scratched from my wish list once they win their elections in November. (Stacey, Val and Beto)

He knows it is in vain.

I adore Michelle Obama but if she doesn't want to run, we should put our dreams away or maybe settle for another bright black woman...um, Kamala Harris?

I think he’s the real deal. I always liked Gavin Newsom for the spot as well.

I don’t consider Michelle Obama qualified to be President. Not that I don’t like her and I think she’d have a real chance at winning, I just don’t see the experience or governing ability.

Gavin Newsom, he's not shy about taking the fight to the GQP, and is an imposing presence compared to both the ricketty Trump and the evil, overweight dwarf DeSantis.

Stop the circular firing squad right now!

Biden is dealing with more profound crises than any president in my memory.
- Ukraine war
- Covid
- Inflation caused by Covid and the war
- International famines
- Insurrection and trials
- Online smear campaigns
- Immigration influx
- Global warming being strongly felt in the south
- Rising gun violence
- Rising fascism

He did not cause, and he cannot cure these problems on his own, or probably in his lifetime. He deserves our support in this time of crisis, not contemplating his replacement.

No new and less experienced person will step in to save us miraculously. We are in it for the long haul. We need unity among Democrats.
