General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsIn looking at the appalling Uvalde tape I note that there are many things
a person might be doing when going up against a barricaded crazy armed with an AR-15. That might include:
-making sure all of body armor was properly secured
-tightening my helmet straps so when I rush in it doesn't cover my vision
-checking my weapon to make sure my magazine is properly seated and a round is in the chamber
-make sure ballistic shield is available, and if not, what other protection measures are at hand
-see if there are any available flash bangs to create a diversion upon entry
-make sure my hand signals with my team are down tight
-discuss with my team how we will "slice the pie" to make sure every quadrant of the room is covered by fire upon entry.
What is not a priority. Using the hand sanitizer dispenser. Disgrace.
