Just askin'---if Trump and Meadows and Bannon and Eastman and company are not indicted, convicted

and sentenced to prison why should a working man who grows a little good weed to help make ends meet give a damn about what "the law" says?

Asking for lots of friends.

... there is no longer a rule of law in the United States.

It would be quite a disastrous change.

that is certainly not justice. Laws are either just or oppressive. It would be a grave injustice to send the privates to prison for their actions while the generals were given a pass.

As far as the pot thing specifically, an international company, three miles down the road from me grows, processes and distributes it by the ton, daily. You can just about get a buzz driving by the facility. I would never, sitting on a jury, vote to convict anyone who was growing pot, in any quantities, for any reasons, on the theory that what is good for the goose is good for the other goose.
