13. This reminds me of a Discover article I read years ago

It was in a regular column called "Vital Signs" in which doctors spoke plainly about issues or mysteries that they encountered. This particular article stated that the people with the worst healthcare were the poor and the very rich; the former because of limited access, the latter because rich people don't like to be told what to do. I imagine there was an argument over the color. My dentist insists we agree on the color before I can leave the chair and she is far more fussy about it than I am, which I appreciate.

Perfectly straight teeth, never needed braces.
But, between 20 & 23 my bottom wisdom teeth came in at an angle. I didn't notice the bottom front teeth pushing together & and until I started having infections from those new teeth they kept crowding.
So, even after I had them removed the front lower are crowded & crooked. Because of that, they stain easy since they're harder to brush well.
Maybe if they had an invisiline thing 40 years ago I would have done it. But, adult orthodontic wasn't covered in our company plan.
They're still crooked.
