General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsFormer Senator John Danforth (R-MO) is part of a group of respected former politicians.
He was on one of the morning shows the other morning and he was discussing the work that his group were doing in researching whether or not there was any fraud in the last election.
He said they discovered that there was not enough fraud to change the vote in even one precinct in the entire country. Not even one precinct!
I thought that was noteworthy that a former Republican like Danforth would make such a statement. And to think that there were so many that believed there was so much fraud that it stole an election from them and Donald Trump. The Big Lie was so monumental when the truth showed there was not enough fraud to change the votes in even one precinct of America.

While I think Woods is a decent guy, I fear Danforth is, once again, going to have the effect of splitting the vote between the independent and the Democratic candidate, bringing about another Missouri Republican Senator. This is not helpful.
Pray that Greitens doesnt win his primary, folks.
Maybe its time for Danforth to just stay out of it. He has done enough damage to Missouri.

(412 posts)Democrats have decent candidates for Senate so Woods being in probably will split the GOP vote more since there are quite a few GOP'rs in this state that are not fond of Greitens.

(12,904 posts)Just an observation:
I drove through SW Missouri last weekend. I saw one Greitens sign. Just the one.
I was pleasantly surprised.
Me.
(35,454 posts)He has helped ruin that party with his bad judgment and the fact that he would believe tfg enough to investigate supposed fraud is proof of that
