If European countries are forced to make a choice between freezing or abandoning Ukraine they'll abandon Ukraine.

Russia must be forced to end the war and return all the land taken from Ukraine before then. Putin is dying, and I think more quickly than they're letting on, and a new broom is going to sweep this entire war under a massive Russian rug after Swan Lake starts playing in a loop on Russian State TV.

7. I thought the big issue with this was pilot training

Hence the previous plan to try to get Poland to provide MiGs to Ukraine, and then give Poland US fighters, which Polish pilots could train on without the pressing need to immediately fight in a war using those planes themselves.
