Disgusting.

(59,618 posts)I remember reading that Dump has some lowly servant person whose job is to bring his Diet Coke on a silver platter with an empty glass, and ask "Would you like ice, Sir?" or some ridiculous thing.
I wish someone would infiltrate the ranks, and slam the platter upside-down on Pisswig's head in front of everyone! That is the treatment Dump is truly worthy of....

(5,478 posts)no big deal. I have them in a variety of colors, shapes and sizes. Flutes for sparkling wines, wide mouths for reds, colors to match dinnerware. I take my wine drinking seriously but don't feel the need to spend more than $2.00 for a wine glass. And most people don't realize this, if you ever buy a bottle or carafe of wine at Olive Garden and request to keep the glasses, they will give them to you. I don't eat at Olive Garden but my brother has filled his downstairs bar rack with their glasses. It could just be some restaurants but he has never had a problem being cheap enough to ask.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
