I live in KS and just got a total lie of a text from an anonymous source about the choice amendment

It says to vote Yes on the Amendment in tomorrows primary election to save women's reproductive rights..Vote Yes to protect women's health...this is a complete reversal of what the Amendment actually says...you must vote NO to keep any access to abortion legal in Kansas....lying sacks of trash...no doubt some will be fooled by this...

this morning who said voting against abortion saves woman’s lives. They are deplorable liars.

I suspect they do, just to make them as confusing as possible. I'm not confused on this one. Voting "NO" tomorrow! Voting "D" straight ticket on all the rest!

no democrats listed, only republicans, I'm not filling in any blanks. I'll be damned if I'm going to fill in a blank for a republican for anything... I'll just skip that one and leave it blank. They haven't changed things this year such that it will nullify the ballot have they?

there is one R running for school board who sounds actually sensible but I just cannot trust these people anymore. It is so sad to say that but as soon as you do they kick you in the teeth. I normally do not vote for Republicans anyway unless it is someone I know well enough to trust and even then got kicked once really hard on a really important election, so yes, I do vote like you almost all the time. Here it hardly makes a difference anymore. I simply do not think I have it in me to be engaged with another Brownback like experience. I like Laura, she is not what I want her to be but she has done a darned good job I think.

Didn't they used to do that? Nullify I mean. I do not think they still do that. Whoever knows here.

I guess that would be a good question to ask when you get there. See you on the other side. There are more people here who are Kansans that I do not know. It is fun to see others.

Much like "Right to work" states, "Compassionate Conservatives", "Pro-life", "Trickle-down", "Corporate Personhood", etc. Anything that has "freedom" in it should immediately be viewed as suspect. Whatever republicans say, know that part or all of it is a lie. It is what they do

This is as dirty as you can get. The anti-abortion coalition is sending out a last minute mass text to Kansas pro-choice voters blatantly lying about the abortion amendment so they vote the wrong way.
Also, they don't identify themselves which is a federal violation.

.@aclukansas has received several reports of these deceptive robotexts going around the day before the state votes on abortion rights. They're encouraging people to report them to the FCC and to remember that a "no" vote is the pro-abortion rights position

Just got this text straight up LYING about voting yes being a vote for "choice!" Ladies, take care of yourself today. I am exhausted with anger from today's news and now this. Vote no tomorrow, Kansas. I beg you.

Even Kansas' former Democratic Gov. (and HHS Secretary) @Sebelius received one of these misleading robotexts, according to @Kansans4Freedom.

and responded with, "Bull shit". I felt angry and crude so I said it. They answered back that they were getting so many good replies that they would get back to all of us who responded. I told them not to bother, I would never vote their way and they just shined it one and dropped another stupid, same text on my phone. All day long.
