... the growing trend to refer to "pregnant people" rather than "pregnant women?" I'm in a total muddle myself. It seems wrong, somehow, to deny people with uteruses a collective voice for all that is associated with that situation. But it also seems wrong to insist that a person who identifies as something other be referred to as a "woman."
Does this trend water down the identify of feminism?

Thus, 'they' might say, "Women are not being singled out, why are you constantly talking about women instead of people?
