Republican Senate hopefuls are getting crushed on airwaves across the country while their national campaign fund is pulling ads and running low on cash leading some campaign advisers to ask where all the money went and to demand an audit of the committees finances, according to Republican strategists involved in the discussions, the Washington Post reports.
In a highly unusual move, the National Republican Senatorial Committee this week canceled bookings worth about $10 million, including in the critical states of Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Arizona.

(2,113 posts)In charge of their money and then they're shocked, SHOCKED, when their money goes missing. Morons.
The committee spent more than $12 million on American Express credit card payments with an unclear purpose, along with $13 million for consultants and $9 million on debt payments, the Post said.

(5,499 posts)Maybe they are will to let Democrats expand their majorities with the thought that that might make them more vulnerable in 2024.
Or at the very least could help them get rid of Trump in 2024.
At the end of the day, they are all grifters.
