1. How many water tankers go from the Port of LA/ Long Beach to Saudi Arabia?

Seems like that would be easy to quantify and it would not be much when you think about it. Saudi's ought to invest their money in desalination systems.

4. They were growing feed in Arizona and shipping that for their camels, cows, and horses.

This cost less than growing the feed in Saudi Arabia, mostly because they got the Arizona water cheap.

6. That makes sense.....that is a concern. Shut that trade down.

SA has enough $ to figure it how to do large scale desalination. Spend it there, instead of stupid real estate projects.

But why waste Saudi water on animal feed when you can buy water and politicians in Arizona cheap...

contributing to Saudi profit since they own the world's largest oil refinery in Port Arthur, Texas.

The Saudi's seem to have control over American politicians.

12. China is buying into the U.S.A. "factory farm" meat industry.

Unfortunately their concerns for the welfare of their contractors, workers, animals, and the environment tend to be minimal.

Smithfield Foods, the largest pork producer in the U.S.A., is owned by China.

I have conservative relatives who probably voted for Trump the first time around who are now openly talking about climate change, sustainability, animal welfare, and commodity meat markets where the middlemen keep most of the profits. I'm sure they've always talked about those things in a roundabout way among themselves, but never before in the language of those they regard as hippy leftists.

My parents are the token hippy leftists in their families. Their parents simply didn't like taking care of cows and ran off to the city to seek their fortunes. I have a few nieces who are working to reclaim their Wild West heritage.

10. But our outrage for doing business with SA is limited to golf

Which is crazy. The same millionaires who are criticizing the LIV golfers probably have SA backed companies in their stock portfolios. Or buy products that are made possible by SA oil.

Think of how different the world would be if we has held SA responsible for 911? If W had insisted on a regime change in SA. If we had done shock and awe in Riyadh.

But too many people would have lost money.

Invading Iraq and Afghanistan were like trying to take down the cartel by going after street dealers.
