8. none of our cats have been climbers or jumpers. Hubs had to rescue the worst of them from

a tree...the same car used to attempt to jump up on our deck but would miss and try desperately to hold on with his claws, while the kids ran to 'save' him. He was the only cat I ever saw that didn't land on his paws...strangely enough, he was the cat that lived the longest. We all miss him years later. He used to meet the kids at the bus stop every day. He also went to the bus stop in the morning with them.

One time a mean bus driver said she was going to run him over. My kids and half the kids on the bus came home crying (elementary school kids) and many calls were made to the bus company, we never saw her again. He was the last outdoor cat we had. He never went further than the bus stop and hung out in our yard. Our neighbors used to lure him into their garages with treats so he could catch the water rats that came up from Lake Allatoona...which was down the path...not far. That cat was a character for sure...miss him.
