You used to believe in law and order. Now you only believe in a man who believes in neither.
You used to trust in free and fair elections. Now you only trust a man who told you an election is only fair if he wins.
You used to listen to what your fellow citizens had to say, whether you agreed with them or not. Now you only listen to a man who encourages you to wreak violence on those you disagree with.
You used to revere the words of Jesus Christ. Now you only revere the words of a man who sees being thy brother's keeper as a weakness worthy of scorn.
You used to honour those in the military, especially those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their country. Now you honour a man who thinks serving their country is for suckers and losers.
You used to think for yourselves. Now you only think what one man tells you to think.
You used to trust in our nation and in your fellow citizens. Now you trust no one, other than the man who leads you to distrust everyone and everything other than himself.
You are no longer free-thinking individuals - you are members of a cult. You are being told what to think, what to believe, what to read, what to say. Your freedoms aren't being taken away from you. You are voting to have them taken away from you of your own accord - and all because you continue to believe in a man whose only interest is his own well-being - your welfare be damned.
If there are any among you who still have the intellectual capacity to recognize the obvious, now is the time to vote accordingly. The democracy you save will definitely be your own.
