Libertarian Group Lists "Woke Churches" for Targetting

Head Douche went to Dartmouth.

As threats of far-right violence rise, New Hampshire Free Staters shared list of 'woke' churches

* A New Hampshire libertarian group tweeted a list of churches, classifying them by how "woke" they are.

* Being LGBTQ-friendly, COVID-cautious, or having a Ukraine flag displayed is considered "woke."

* The list was posted amid a spike in far-right threats of violence.

The Free State Project — a New Hampshire-based libertarian movement — tweeted a list of Christian churches in the state, identifying those that are considered "woke."

The list, which was published on a wiki called "LibertyWins.org," largely measures "wokeness" by whether the church is LGBTQ-friendly, has advocated for racial or social justice, or had implemented COVID precautions.

Snip…

There are nearly 900 churches named, and they are identified by their location and denomination.

Snip…

While displaying a Pride flag, or requiring masks was a sure-fire way to land churches on the list, there were other reasons cited for the classification.

An Episcopal church made its way on the woke list by donating to the NAACP. Another displayed a Ukraine flag on its website. A third included a blurb on its website about how they are located on "unceded native American land."

A professional hypnotist tried to warn us. Coupled with NBC and the rest of corporate mass media, even Dimdonnie Dipwad could do it:

Hypnotist Richard Barker Shows How Trumpnosis, Donald Trump's Form of Covert Hypnosis, Affects Millions Around the World

NEWS PROVIDED BY
Richard Barker, Incredible Hypnotist
Mar 29, 2016, 08:35 ET

ORLANDO, Fla., March 29, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Hypnotist Richard Barker has just released research surrounding mass hypnosis and has coined the phrase "Trumpnosis".

Trumpnosis.com has been receiving lots of interest as of late. Covert hypnosis means having access to people's subconscious mind and altering the way they behave and think in a disguised or somewhat hidden way. Some popular covert hypnosis techniques used to align someone's behavior and thoughts to the desired outcome of the hypnotists are displayed during mass hypnosis.

Barker typically refers to mass hypnosis as "Trumpnosis", since he states, "Mr. Trump displays it so well". The media have also made comments regarding the Hypnotizing of a nation and questioned what is happening to America. Through the words and actions of an individual, can we influence and suggest a nation to think a certain way? Richard Barker who is known as the 'Incredible Hypnotist' thinks so. Barker said, "Everything we do and see must first start with a thought process. We don't see the world; we think it. If your thoughts are influenced by a master Hypnotist to think in a certain way on a mass level, this is 'Trumpnosis'".

Mass Hypnotism can apply to everything and be everywhere – in families, in schools and in politics. The influence and use of repetition on crowds is identified through Mr. Trump's speeches and is seen to influence even the most enlightened minds. The power is due to the fact that the repeated statements are embedded in those profound regions of our subconscious mind.

Donald Trump successfully uses techniques such as pacing and leading, anchoring, verbal confusion, repetition and so on. He successfully bypasses the critical factor in minds of some people and has the ability to turn off the rational thinking. By using certain words and behavior, a speaker can very quickly establish a rapport with an audience. Repeated exposure to the same speaker can result in them being viewed with admiration, bordering on worship. Every word uttered is accepted as the complete truth.

“ Through the words he has used, both now and in the past, he has placed others into a hypnotic state without them knowing," says Barker. "Trump's speeches contains hypnosis techniques of hypnotic anchoring, pacing and leading, critical factor bypass and so on."

Hypnotist Richard Barker insists, "All you need to remember is that most people's needs are based on their instincts. Understanding people's instincts, especially in a mass gathering, is one of the key goals of mass hypnosis. Trumpnosis is a vehicle for enabling large groups of people to have an altered belief system."

Richard Barker is a World Renowned Professional Hypnotist. He has spent the last 20 years working with thousands of clients across the world. Richard Barker has recently appeared on NBC's The Today Show, CBS' The Late Late Show with James Corden, FOX's Good Day LA and News channels for FOX and ABC http://incrediblehypnotist.com

He has written a new book focusing on Persuasion and Suggestion titled, "Selling Hypnotically. The Art Of Suggestion" http://sellinghypnotically.com

Nicotine, caffeine, opiates, gambling, porn, Krispy Kreme donuts (I couldn't not make a funny) etc.

They consume the WingNut propaganda, they like WingNut propaganda, they need the WingNut propaganda. It's like they share one big hivemind. Thousands of top-shelf newspapers have disappeared across America this century with more going every month. But WingNut media spreads like wildfire. Hundreds pop-up every year. Big money in it, cause MAGAts HAVE TO HAVE THEIR FIX.

Their tv shows (I fucking refuse to call them news channels), Internet websites, WingNut message boards, and even the memes they share on Facebook/Twitter/WingNut Twitter all say the same thing.

If a MAGAt goes a day without that hit of WingNut propaganda they begin to feel queesy, cold sweats, racing thoughts. WHERE'S MY SMARTPHONE! WHAT'S THE WIFI PASSWORD! HOW DO YOU SPELL BREITBART! GOOD OLD RIMJOB! (Again, a silly joke).

Ten minutes later they feel good, they feel great, they scream HUNTER BIDEN!!

In all seriousness a large part of why they do, say, and act the way they do is because of an addiction. And we need to develop, market, push, a treatment protocol.

Very, very, very rarely does a hardshell Republican, Deplorables, WingNuts, MAGAt ever recover on their own. Almost never. It's going to take deep commitment, a whole new industry, to even begin the de-programming.

I know people who have Fox on every TV in the house 24 hours a day like they'll miss something if they look away for even a second. And then if you ask to change the channel they look at you funny.

Even worse is that the people who are addicted to Fox News think they are right about everything. Last night I had to hear some of my Fox loving neighbors drone on about how people won't come to work because of government handouts and that the democrats own the media and drown out what Trump supporters want to hear. It's all bullshit.

But yeah these people are definitely brainwashed and it would take a miracle to deprogram them from teetering over the edge.

Libertarianism are the most self-affecting people on the planet, who want things they can't have. They plug themselves into every program possible, and view those benefits as somehow deserved. If they can't tap into a program, they view it as a form of tax that they are somehow paying. I bet every one of those in that group have plugged into the public largess as much as possible.

The angriest adherents aren’t just practicing separation of church and state. Their aim, I think, is to separate the religious from DU and the Democratic Party. I feel sorry for them, but I won’t tell them why.

Religion, belief and understanding are important — to me, essential — parts of life. And I have found my beliefs have no real contradiction with logic, science and history. When my mind has said, “Stop!” and my heart is ready to quit because the pains of reality and the burdens of life are too much to bear, it’s Faith that has kept me going forward, if not upward.

Why We Don't Know Much About Right-Wing Terrorists

Conservatives Fired The Guy Studying Them in 2009

Why Don’t We Know Much About Right-Wing Terrorists?

Conservatives Fired The Guy Studying Them

JAMESON PARKER
AddictingInfo, JUNE 18, 2015 4:41 PM

After a mass shooting at a historically black church in Charleston, South Carolina, left nine people dead and a right-wing white supremacist arrested, the country once again faces the uneasy question of just how many so-called “home-grown” terrorists are out there – heavily armed, ideologically driven, and violent.

It’s a good question, but it may be tough to answer because for reasons that are astoundingly dimwitted, the Department of Homeland Security pushed out the guy who was in charge of watching them, and dismantled his team all the way back in 2009.

The beleaguered hero of this story is Daryl Johnson, a top government counterterrorism analyst working at Homeland Security who spent six years with the agency amassing a wealth of data on far-right extremist groups that posed various degrees of threat to citizens in the United States. In 2009, in the months after President Obama assumed office, he watched as these groups veered even further right, and began to fear that America’s first African-American president could be the catalyst of a major uptick in hate crimes and anti-government attacks.

In a landmark report released just months into Obama’s term, and now looks downright clairvoyant, Johnson made the case that radical Islam is only a small piece of the terrorism pie:

“Do not overlook other types of terrorist groups,” the report warned, noting that five purely domestic groups had considered using weapons of mass destruction in that period. Similar warnings have been issued by the two principal non-government groups that track domestic terrorism: the New York-based Anti-Defamation League and the Alabama-based Southern Poverty Law Center.

An annual tally by the latter group of what it calls “Terror From the Right” listed 13 major incidents and arrests last year, nearly double the annual number in previous years; the group also reported the number of hate groups had topped 1,000 in 2010, for the first time in at least two decades.

In response to that report, Johnson was destroyed. It wasn’t his integrity or claims that got him in trouble, his facts were solid. Instead, it was the inconvenient truth that much of the threat comes from right-wing conservatives, and even more awkwardly, radical right-wing conservatives who say and think a lot of the same things mainstream right-wing conservatives say and think.

I know a few of you have said this group has joined the Trump cult but I am going to disagree with that assertion and I'll explain why.

Looking over their list of churches they're targeting I noticed something -
Many of the church's listed are VERY far right wing. Like hardcore Christian evangelical voters. That is literally Trump's base and also DeSantis'. Case in point - they list "Assembly of God" church's. IIRC AOG was the church portrayed in the film "Footloose". They are incredibly far right & very hardcore. Speaking in tongues, no dancing, shun rock & roll, and incredibly anti-LGBTQIA.
In other words, nothing "woke" about them.

Here is the list of what is basically founding principles from the [link:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Assemblies_of_God_Statement_of_Fundamental_Truths|Wiki on Assembly of God.
]

Other far right wing church's listed include United Pentecostal Church, Christian Scientism (who is a BIG driver of antivax bullshit), Mormons (meh so so on far right there, compared to AOG they're almost liberal lol) , and
perhaps the biggest of the bunch -- Church of God Prophecy.

Church of God Prophecy is a borderline cult. They are soooooo far right that they make Southern Baptists look like an inner city urban church that Jesse Jackson attends. We're talking about a sect of Christianity who believes divorce & remarriage is evil. Literally. Dancing? HAHAHHA! You get the gulag! Militaristic vegetarians and often vegan, and a whole lot more.
Here's their core beliefs. Read it. Because some of it is really out there
From their Wiki--
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Church_of_God_of_Prophecy

If anything, these people aren't Trumpers. Nah, this is Trump's base they're targeting along with just about every denomination. What I find weird though is that it ONLY seems to be Christian church's although they do list Judeo-Christian Messianic Ministries which IIRC is a very conservative Judeo sect. I say odd because nothing Islam, Hindu, Buddhist, or others is listed and I need to dig more on that because I personally find this sort of stuff fascinating. Guess who was a "Theology major" in a former life? Yours truly! lol
My focus was actually on cults & I actually debated about attending Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. My, how I've changed! lol These days I'm part of the Christian Left and a devout Eco-Socialist.

Are you all familiar with the "Sovereign Citizen Movement"?
Because this is who this "group" reminds me of.
These people are as dangerous as it gets and I'm NOT kidding. They are literally domestic terrorists who don't believe in the power of federal government at all. States rights? Barely. And I do mean barely. They don't recognize ANY law enforcement on the local level outside of county Sheriffs because they are elected to office. Anything else is illegitimate.
Everyone on here should take the time to familiarize yourselves with this movement to better understand things and for educational purposes. The Wiki on the "Sovereign Citizen Movement" is here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sovereign_citizen_movement & be sure to Google (or preferable Duck Duck Go) "Free State of Jefferson" as they are the founders of that movement as well.
https://duckduckgo.com/?q=free+state+of+Jefferson

These people are absolute whackos. And they're incredibly far right of even Trump.
I can't see them being part of Cult 45 when they're openly calling for violence against his very base.
I'm curious to know where the Libertarian Party stands on these folks since they go against their ideals especially as it comes to LGBTQIA people. Also, the Libertarian Party is against violence which this obviously is the direct opposite of that.

Every political party has it's weirdos (LaRouche anyone!?!? David Duke?)
This group seems to fit that mold quite well and I am going to send a tweet to the Libertarian Party asking for clarity and a statement on this. Should I receive a response I will share it with you all.

Stay tuned!

Free State Project

The Free State Project (FSP) is a nonprofit corporation with a mission statement of creating "a society in which the maximum role of government is the protection of life, liberty, and property. The success of the Project would likely entail reductions in taxation and regulation, reforms at all levels of government to expand individual rights and free markets, and a restoration of constitutional federalism." [1]

"The Free State Project is a plan in which 20,000 or more liberty-oriented people will move to a single state of the U.S. to secure there a free society," Jason P. Sorens wrote, in a history of the effort. "We will accomplish this by first reforming state law, opting out of federal mandates, and finally negotiating directly with the federal government for appropriate political autonomy. We will be a community of freedom-loving individuals and families, and create a shining example of liberty for the rest of the nation and the world." [2]

My perspective is that the Libertarian “Free State Project” is all-in on stopping the socialists cough liberals cough Democrats, but won’t do the round-up or pull the trigger parts. They just want to make the process more efficient.

Am I mistaken? I thought they wanted ultimate personal freedom and no responsibility for what others do.

Wha happened?

It’s a buzzword, but take a look at what it actually means.

If by woke, they mean I support marriage equality and equal rights for who people are, that I still take a virus seriously and that I oppose the injustice of the worst invasion of a European country Post-World War II…

If that makes me ‘woke,’ I’m mighty proud to be woke.

Congrats to NEYM Friends. Some of our Meetings were labeled a "credible threat to military recruitment", during the gulf wars..
