6. Same here. At least someone got her to stop saying "That's the end of the Single Jeopardy round."

It's the "jeopardy" round, not "single jeopardy."

But she still laughs every. single. time. someone picks a Daily Double, whether there is any reason for amusement or not.

She is IMO so phony when she does the contestant interview. Like reading from notes and really has less than 0 interest.

4. End of the year reruns - been going on for decades

usually August is reruns and the regular show returns after Labor Day.

If I recall they often have some kind of a tournament of champions or something like that on return.

So you have like 2 more weeks of reruns. But the tourney should be a humdinger wit Matt Amodio and Amy (?). There were a couple others that had streaks last year also.

8. I think they have a Second Chance Week coming.

Not sure about that, but I think it's a good thing for them to do. That show when Ken Jennings' long run finally ended, suppose that had JUST HAPPENED to have been his FIRST show, instead of his 75th? Have there been any more Ken Jenningses among Jeopardy non-winning contestants through the years?

That show when Matt Amodio's run finally ended, BOTH of his opponents beat him, and it was back-and-forth between the two of them the whole show. She finished a very close second and would have won if she had happened to be narrowly ahead instead of narrowly behind going into the Final Jeopardy round. SHE might have been another Ken Jennings.

How many really good Jeopardy players might there have been who didn't get through their first show? I think a Second Chance Week is a really good idea, and I think they're going to do one. I hope they are.

I might add, I disagree with the Mayim Bialik haters. I really like her and I'm glad she's the regular host. I like Jennings, too, though.

The players who lost to a streak winner were first timers — no experience buzzing in or on the set. I did not know about Second Chance. Thanks for the info.
