In my opinion, the Capital police were completely caught off guard. I believe many of them were in a state of shock. They couldn't believe what was happening.

If the Capital Police had been more aggressive, fired shots into the air, shot a few more Trump voters who were beating officers, the entire crowd would have run away.

If Trump is prosecuted there will be no civil war. Yes there will be some acts of violence by some of the crazies but they will be arrested or killed.

Is very different; a few left the area but I don't recall anyone running away. Nor did the shooting even happen near the end but fairly early on.

I also remember many, MANY posts how some, if not a majority, of police were aligned with the rioters and let them pass.

As I’ve stated earlier, I believe that every three initial agency is or has infiltrated extremist groups already, as well as tapping their communications. We may see violence in parts of the country, but the prosecutions that have already transpired due to Jan. 6th will make many weekend warriors rethink their stupidity.

Garland need not fret the impact of indicting Trump. It’s necessary to ensure equal justice, if there is such a thing. “Drop the bomb”, Garland. We will survive. However, if this whole mess is swept under the rug, we may not.
