It was reported on MSNBC again. A Grand Jury subpoenaed the documents at Trumps resort.

I have heard this multiple times from multiple people on MSNBC.

Some people here have said this is not true. The Grand Jury had nothing to do with the documents. They said the Grand Jury subpoena was for the Jan 6th investigation.

You know what I think. There were two Grand Jury subpoenas. One for the Jan 6th investigation and the other for the documents at Trumps resort.

Trump obstructed a Grand Jury subpoena. Indict him for that. I have heard prosecutors say this can be done without having to expose the secret documents to the jury. Indict Trump for that and later on they can add more indictments. This would be a good start, it is a serious felony.

https://www.cnn.com/2022/08/11/politics/mar-a-lago-search-subpoena-latest/index.html

"The FBI search at Mar-a-Lago this week came months after federal investigators served an earlier grand jury subpoena and took away sensitive national security documents from former President Donald Trump’s property during a June meeting, people familiar with the matter tell CNN.

Investigators executed Monday’s search in part because they had developed evidence, including from at least one witness, that there were potentially classified documents still remaining at the Palm Beach, Florida, property months after the National Archives arranged for the retrieval of 15 boxes of documents that included classified information in January of this year, a person briefed on the matter said.

Authorities also believed the documents remaining at Mar-a-Lago had national security implications, CNN reported earlier this week.

The subpoena issued before the June meeting, during which investigators were shown where documents were held in a basement room at the Trump residence and private club, shows how the investigation has escalated and suggests the discussions had become confrontational long before Monday’s search."

Trump could be charged for this separately. A straight forward obstruction charge.

Nail that traitor for something. A straight forward felony obstruction charge would work for me.

Fifth floor windows could be especially dangerous for Trump. They seem to be a favorite for Putin.

The Grand Jury subpeona is a result of the FBI investigation into classified docs (at Mar-a-Lago) in the boxes returned to NARA. There were two subpeonas.

The second one was for video surveillance.
