The album reflected the times for me. The world seemed to have teeth to eat a young person then, there was no staying still. As simple and immature as it may seemed to older listeners when first released, that’s what makes the song great after 50 years.

It’s young people like this who are our future, like it or not. Old people in Congress are like animal wranglers at the zoo—they can follow but never lead.

So spend time helping younger people politically, people my age are fucked. The only way older people will change is if their grandchildren tell them to.
