Why Does this judge issue a ruling on Labor Day?

A National Holiday. Federal offices are CLOSED. Is that normally done?

Is there some 'strategy' for her doing it on a fucking Holiday?

I don't know it seems fishy to me and I thought I would see someone else had addressed it, but I can't find anything. Does it take a day off some countdown for responses or appeals?

Judges can issue rulings any day of the year even if the courthouse is "closed".

That doesn't mean there has been no insider shared information. Are you looking for a argument? I posted an idea.
Why do you think this Judge made such a bad ruling?

for a case like this -- which admittedly is very unique on many levels. Why people are upset is beyond me. They must not know how some of the nuts and bolts of our system work. I don't know what the DOJ will do with the main case -- if anything -- but having a Special Master look at a relatively few documents will not change the timeline much at all.

When this first happened I posted that the documents could be looked at in a few days to determine what they were. Others said it would take "months for review". It didn't and this will take little time also.

that this could take months or closer to a year or more? The opinion seems to be that he will delay on all decisions, as is his SOP. Can the judge demand a time limit?

The issue is of national interest and is time sensitive. There were posters saying she would stall the release of her opinion and now complaints that it is issued too quickly.
