Perhaps the DOJ will not appeal, instead get a Special Master in place and let them do their job. That would probably be quicker than the appeals process.
I haven't heard the DOJ respond yet, anybody else hear anything.

(13,903 posts)At this point it is the injunction and the fact that this whackjob judge is actually thinking about giving classified documents back to the Pig that is weird. That whole "save Donnie's reputation" in the order is like the Pig gave her orders on what he wanted to see.
It could be she just decided to save herself the aggravation and get in good with the Pig she would allow this knowing it be shot down on appeal or make no difference in the end.
Not to mention keeping down the number of death threats from the cultists.

(21,418 posts)do not accept this horrible ruling. Rake this judge over the coals with the appeal, pummel her. Request that her ridiculous stay be removed immediately because our national security is at risk. Getting rid of the stay makes taking longer not as consequential.
Not appealing gives credence to this horrible judge who has no business being a judge.

(15,669 posts)Letting the ruling stand unchallenged would have tremendous implications for the rule of law moving forward.
Trump claimed EP over docs subpoenaed by the J6 committee about this time last year.
The appeal reached SCOTUS in late October, and they issued their ruling against Trump in early January.
