Lindsey Graham actually talking sense here

Re. a Romney loss, from a solid article at Republico on the GOP's looming civil war:

“If I hear anybody say it was because Romney wasn’t conservative enough I’m going to go nuts,” said Graham. “We’re not losing 95 percent of African-Americans and two-thirds of Hispanics and voters under 30 because we’re not being hard-ass enough.”

Of the party’s reliance on a shrinking pool of white men, one former top George W. Bush official said: “We’re in a demographic boa constrictor and it gets tighter every single election.”

Also, here's a nice factoid:

The GOP coalition is undergirded by a shrinking population of older white conservative men from the countryside, while the Democrats rely on an ascendant bloc of minorities, moderate women and culturally tolerant young voters in cities and suburbs. This is why, in every election, since 1992, Democrats have either won the White House or fallen a single state short of the presidency.

is starting to ensnare their own. Witness Jim Cramer's rethug father who was disenfranchised by PA's Voter suppression law until Cramer whined about it on twitter and finally got his father an ID.

While Romney smiles and tells the voters that he isn't a RW fundamentalist, neoconservative hard-ass and rather, that he's a moderate, pragmatic individual who happens to be a republican, that bit isn't getting him any new voters. We don't believe his lies. We see who he turns to for money and for advice. Electing Romney is electing all of them.

it is the same Party calling the President the cause of division. They find every excuse except looking into the mirror. Like I said, they are cowards. As far as them pushing the Bible and religion, they have no problem looking you in the eye and lying. I thought that was a sin? They have no problem with intolerance. They have no problem oppressing the vote. In my own state so far (North Carolina) 96 percent of the Republican Party is white. The percentage in the Democratic Party is diversified. The percentage between Blacks and whites are about even, yet the Republicans call the Democrats racists. They think they are superior. They hate science, school, but believe in witchcraft and Demons with two horns and a pointed tail.
