Ukrainians one town away from Kherson City

Ukrainian Armed Forces liberate Kyselivka, only Chornobaivka separates them from Kherson – Kherson Oblast Council

Oleksandr Samoilenko, Head of the Kherson Oblast Military Administration, said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated the village of Kyselivka in Kherson Oblast on 13 September. Now only the village of Chornobaivka stands between the Ukrainian forces and the city of Kherson.

The only village that, as of today, stands between the Ukrainian army and the city of Kherson is the infamous Chornobaivka. But everyone in Ukraine knows that Chornobaivka is where the occupiers meet their death."

Samoilenko stressed that the overwhelming mood among the residents of Kherson Oblast is one of "expectation", while the Russian occupiers "are having panic attacks".

I mapped this out. My best estimate is that the Ukrainian Army is 8-9 miles from the outskirts of the City of Kherson. If they can step up the pressure, I am hoping for a rout just as in Kharkiv Oblast. The logistics and nature of the battle are different, so we'll see what happens.
