(Other than the electoral college is stupid!)
I'll go with 332-206 Obama victory.
Feel free to try out a scenario or two... http://www.cnn.com/election/2012/ecalculator#_

(39,343 posts)I think Florida will go for us as will VA, CO, OH, WI
I give R$ NC and the ones that 270towin.com already has for him.
I love tinkering on that site
I wanna see big coattails too.

(1,660 posts)For some reason I still think Obama could "steal" Georgia by virtue of high turnout in the Atlanta area. He damn-near pulled this off the last time and early voter turnout is ahead of the 2008 pace last I checked.
But all that aside, the President could lose all of FL, OH, GA, NC and VA and STILL win the election. I like our chances.

(39 posts)I also see 290-248 as a possibility too if Romney wins VA. I gave FL to Romney in both scenarios. While I think Obama will win FL, I don't ever see anything being fair there.
At any rate, I don't see Romney winning at all. I still feel like I am going to throw up but I feel we have this.

(12,471 posts)That is my prediction exactly.
When do they start calling it a mandate, or can it be a womandate, since I am heterosexual?

(61,711 posts)It could be even higher for Obama. I have him losing Virginia and North Carolina and he could win either or even both.

(2,787 posts)Only because I don't feel good about Colorado, but if Obama picks up that one it's 332.

(666 posts)I predicted in early October that President Obama would win re-election 274 -264.
In that scenario I had the president winning Ohio, Pa, NH, Nevada, and Colorado but losing NC, Wisconsin, Iowa, Virginia, and Florida.
Now I am not so sure about NH(4) or Colorado (9) but he can and hopefully will win Wisconsin (10) and Iowa (6).
So I will stay with my original 274 -264 but it looks more like 277-261.
All I want is a win. A win is a win no matter what the score.

(26 posts)but with Rethuggies fighting electoral decisions tooth and nail, the bigger ones don't look so bright.
Best case scenario: Obama 318 to Romney 220
Worst case scenario: Romney 276 to Obama 262
How I think it will end: Obama 272 to Romney 266 (Obama loses Ohio, Florida, NC and VA, but gains all other swing states)

(88 posts)I believe one of these 3 options will be the final.
O 281 R257
Romney comes back to take Va, In, Co and Fl. Obama holds Ohio.
O 303 R235
Obama holds Co and Va but loses Fl and In.
And to cover all possibilities:
R 275 O 263
This is the most likely of a really unlikely outcome. Romney takes Fl, Va, Oh, Co and In.
If I were an odds maker I'd set the odds at 2:1 PBO
