But of course, when things go south, God gets little blame, even though God certainly heard all of those prayers.

And isn't God the one who is to blame for this hurricane hitting in the first place? What does God have against Florida that hurricanes continue to hit the state every year?

I submit that God in in fact want to free them from the Garden. Adam was supposed to be the smarter, yet revealed himself to be the dumber of the two as Eve was the first to achieve knowledge. If it wasn't for Eve, there would be no humankind in the eyes of Christians. They would still be locked up as hamsters and no Judaeo-Christian religion would exist.

Eve was the one who set mankind free, and she caught shit for it ever since.

5. Hypocrisy

I seem to recall the Christian Taliban (Like Pat Robertson and others) always used to blame the "Gays" when Mother Nature would hit. Robertson once claimed God steered a hurricane away from his Virginia base once. Where are they all now? I mean DeSantis has totally gone anti-woke, anti-gay, anti-abortion, pro-morality, etc. So Florida is a shining example of "Christian values" now.

So what's up with the hurricane? Huh Ron?

16. If there were Clif Notes of the Bible, He doesn't look so good.

First, everyone lives forever in paradise, oops broke arbitrary rule now we all suffer and die. Decides to flood the joint and kill everyone but Noah & family plus all but 2 of each animal. Bad people wind up living anyway, promises never to do that again. Tells us to be Jews, in some versions tells us to stop being Jews and be Christian. Finishes up with destruction, someday, no date given, at least 1700 years of "could be any day now".

I don't mind the Bible as parables, but I can't take it literally like some religions base themselves on. They make it seem like the whole purpose of life is to get your facts straight and have the right religion. Even if I assume He wrote it originally, am I supposed to believe that every translation by humans from hebrew to greek to latin to english went off without a hitch when people can't even translate their thoughts into english in an email?
