Army general investigated for defending female soldiers against Tucker Carlson's insults

An Army investigation criticized the Army’s top enlisted leader for using Twitter to defend female soldiers after Fox News host Tucker Carlson said they were weakening the military.

The investigation’s outcome has at least one Army general worried that “The Army has gone full MAGA,” a reference to former President Donald Trump’s campaign slogan, Make America Great Again.

In March 2021, Maj. Gen. Patrick Donahoe defended female soldiers after Carlson criticized new military policies providing maternity uniforms, “making it easier for women to pump breast milk on duty, and relaxing grooming standards to allow them to have ponytails and braids,” Insider reported.

In a segment that month, Carlson said, “While China’s military becomes more masculine as it assembles the world’s largest Navy, our military needs to become, as Joe Biden says, more feminine — whatever feminine means anymore, since men and women no longer exist.”

I'd love to see theoe silver spoon pretty boys like Tuckems, Matt Gaetz and Donald (Hoover nose) Trump jr serve in the military and repeat how wimpy they think it is. They might wake up to their boots filled with shit or something vile like that.

1. Was he investigated for not showing appropriate military professionalism in his comments?

Unfair as it is, an Active Duty General's tweets are considered to hold policy implications. The people wearing stars on their uniforms got to those positions through politics as well as merit. Therefore, anything they say publically is considered either representative of the branch of service they are in or of political import to the branch of service they are in.

And yes, a lot of military leadership is either borderline Chritio-fascist or Magats. So combatting *ucker publically in a less than politically nuanced manner might create some conflict in the Wardroom.
