about 30 minutes ago (just before 8:00) and apparently there was a long line outside of my polling place before it opened. I was in the 60s for the count of voters so far about an hour after the polling place opened. The divisions/precincts here in Philly usually represent a population of a thousand or so, with some % of that who are eligible voters (over age 18, etc), and then a % of that who are actually registered...
So here in my Division, we are doing great!!

(28,876 posts)My old apartment building there used to be a polling place. They always have long lines in the mornings, before people go to work. But from about 9:30 am to 2:00 there's usually no lines at all!

(7,237 posts)Took me almost an hour to vote and I got there just 20 minutes after the polls opened, in a tiny little township out in the country.
