"He (Trump) will never have another good day." Loser label will haunt him. The law will pursue him.

And if the GOP wants to hitch their fortunes to TFG please do. He is a traitor and his J6 thugs were just the
same as Mussolini's "Black Shirts" and those that still support him we will never get their votes anyways so
fuck 'em. They are un-American racist Christo Fascisti shits.

Former President Donald Trump was issued a subpoena Friday by the House select committee investigating the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol. The committee, which voted unanimously on the move, is demanding Trump's testimony under oath and records relevant to the probe into the 2021 attack on the Capitol and its causes.

Committee Chairman Rep. Bennie Thompson, D-Miss., and Republican Vice Chairwoman Liz Cheney of Wyoming in a letter to Trump cited what they called his central role in a deliberate effort to reverse his loss in the 2020 presidential election, and to remain in power.

"As demonstrated in our hearings, we have assembled overwhelming evidence, including from dozens of your former appointees and staff, that you personally orchestrated and oversaw a multi-part effort to overturn the 2020 presidential election and to obstruct the peaceful transition of power," the letter said.

"You were at the center of the first and only effort by any U.S. President to overturn an election and obstruct the peaceful transition of power, ultimately culminating in a bloody attack on our own Capitol and on the Congress itself," the letter said. The records being sought by the House committee pursuant to the subpoena are due Nov. 4. The subpoena also says that Trump would be deposed on Nov. 14, after the midterm elections.

on giving state legislators absolute authority over elections, no oversight. Magats control 27 state legislatures and they can rig presidential elections, good-bye democracy.

And he knows that too. His "running" is just a vehicle for him to grift more money from his rubes.

And this too

* Section 3 of the 14th Amendment prohibits the election or appointment of an individual to state or federal office if they previously held such an office, took an oath of office and then “engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the [United States], or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof.” Adopted after the Civil War, the amendment precludes any insurrectionist who has served as a member of Congress, state legislator, U.S. military officer or federal or state officer from serving again.

It says “engaged”.

It doesn’t mention being charged, tried and convicted.

So no jury is necessary.

What's that old saying about the wheels of justice grinding slowly? They might grind exceedingly fine, but if it's after the election the wheels might just stop grinding altogether.

His economic "empire" (such as it is) is a house-of-cards maintained through grifting and loan-payment avoidance. The costs of his legal fees and the exposure of his corruptive and criminal practices will snowball and he and the Trump Org. will be ruined.

Politically he's been exposed for what he is. The number of people who will support a populist demagogue is disturbingly high, but it is too few to put him back in office.

We need to get out the vote. Right now. To minimize the damage of Trumpism.

as his once-voters move to denialism. More probable than most scenarios. Not counting on a prison term, of course, but age alone pretty much rules out a someday rebirth to get back what he lost and longs for.

Imagining on, likely even more miserable for the former Narcissist in Chief, the more competent fascistic dictator we all fear could take his place. An abandoned tRump could also make a great scapegoat...

Oct 2022

1) > 30% of those people are repeat goers

2) the size of those crowds are steadily shrinking ... the Trump people have people move forward and
stand behind him to make it look like more people are there. If you see pictures from the back you will
see lots of empty seats and open areas.

3) The blacks that stand behind Trump are paid to be there.

4) @ least 25% of the people at his "Bund Rallies" leave before he is done.

The media is selling a false narrative about his huge falling.
