And I discovered that Amazon workers in 3 states walked out on Prime day. Who knew? Okay, okay, but I missed it. Usually almost all labor and infrastructure activities, and many more good things that are treated as local at best and far too positive to be considered "news."

19. I had the funniest thought

If you took the same picture and told people it was a group of Bernie Sanders supporters, my remark would be a top three observation by some. Hell, it would be the observation.

Look, I don't care about Twitter. Some do. But when I think social media influencer, I do not think "Mainly white people middle aged and up." I mean, maybe here that's true, but not on the wider Internet and social media in general.

It's an odd little insular microcosm they managed with this one. None of my social media look this, ah, uniform.

I'm happy if people are happy. But it isn't exactly youth outreach, is it? Which is what you'd think would be the point of social media influencers.

And your problem with the picture is their ages?

And it wasn't social media influencers -- it was POLITICAL social media influencers from what I understand. Even though there are plenty of young people in that picture -- once again, your observation says more about you than it does the picture -- odds are that most political observers will skew older.

EDIT: I went back and looked at the pic again. If you think that group is mainly middle-aged and up, you are seeing things that aren't there.
