Newt on MSNBC trashing the President's response to Sandy....

implying it was on par with the response to Katrina. No one challenged him and it made me sick. Only after Newt's segment was over Mike Barnacle responded and pushed back against that notion, mentioning Marines on the ground and other support for people in the disaster areas. It was a shame that Newt was not on camera to have to defend his position that is clearly politically motivated and not based on FACTS.

3. I guess we need to consider the source....

eh? Does Newt have ANY credibility? Sadly, there are people who will hear his false narrative about the response to Sandy and repeat the claims. Let's hope that Chris Christie's words carry a bit more weight (no pun intended!) with the American people ...at least on THIS subject.

12. I know people who worship Christie and hate Obama. They are saying FEMA is a failure.

That it is doing nothing in NJ and other states now. The fact that Christie is saying just the opposite means absolutely nothing to them. They mindlessly parrot every other word out of his mouth, but his praise of FEMA does not exist for them.

They're all nuts. I'm totally disgusted.

He's just another washed-up GOPer candidate wannabe howling at the moon. Cable "news" yakkers interview him and people like him only because they've got 24 hours of air time to fill up with something. Cable news is a black hole of stupidity, especially today. Turn it off.

Off with the blather on TV. Shower, dress and out the door for something fun. Maybe plunder some thrift stores, retail therapy and then back home to bake goodies for tonight. Gonna be a good night! I feel it in my bones. Screw Newt. We know his line and he is full of it. Ought to have brown eyes....

Newt continues to play the partisan fool. I see a lot of similarities between him and The Donald.

8. Why, oh why, do they keep interviewing Newt?

The last time he was elected to anything was in the last century. He was a crook then, and he's a fraud now. And interviewing him on the state of politics is like interviewing the owner of Bill's barbecue in Virginia (the one that went bankrupt) on how to run a business.

Does Newt not think at all about what he is actually saying?

"Oh look FEMA is trying but making mistakes here and there so vote for us because we promise to not even try at all."
