On the one hand, I've heard from Bolsonaro's spokesperson that he will reluctantly accept his defeat. I've also heard that there are moves underway to effectuate the transition.
Then, on the other hand, I've heard about things like truckers aligned with Bolsonaro blocking roads and flights being cancelled as some sort of power move by the Bolsonaroists in protest.
And I also hear Bolsonaro is supposed to address the country sometime today, but no idea when he will do that or, even more importantly, what he will say.
I'm getting a lot of mixed signals at to what's going on, positive and negative.

Looking at world events, it seems we're forever waiting to be able to breathe freely...

(101,368 posts)Some people in Bolsonaro's camp are accepting the result; that's good. So far, there's no organized attempt to overthrow it.
Some supporters are self-entitled idiots; that was inevitable.
