He Paid 44 billion for an Algorithm, And He is hoping We are stupid enough

To help him recoup that 44 Billion.

Talk about a sucker born every minute, if anyone is willing to pay for Twitter, just to assist Musk in recouping that 44 billion dollars.

He is tho! Whether he actually goes through with this or not remains to be seen, but he certainly beginning to float the idea which is how these billionaires play billionaires play this game.
They drive the price up on something for a little bit to see if people are willing to pay for.
And once one platform has people paying $20 a month for for this service.

Others will begin to follow suit.
It's another form of market manipulation

Example look at medications. One man ran the price up on insulin over night,, by like 300% or more, just to see what would happen
And yes there was outrage, but guess what other companies are now following suit and doing the same thing with other medications.

We are being robbed denying that fact, helps no one

And just look at all the stuff we spend our money on that we absolutely don't need
We have literally been trained just to absent-mindedly spend our money.

People are gullible enough to pay for Twitter. I think it's sweet that you don't believe that.
I hope you are right and I am wrong.💜

that they'll cough up $240/year for the privilege of calling themselves "verified" while raking in even more money on advertising revenue so Twitter will make a profit for the first time, ever.

It's not going to work. people who create the kind of content that draws others in to read are not going to pay for being Twitter's product. Also, I can't see his staff working the hourse he wants them to, they're going to tell him to go to hell pretty quickly.

Rich men seem to want people to pay for the privilege of working for them. They always seem to shocked when we want paychecks instead of glory.

He figured he was buying a going concern that would otherwise just justify itself, but in the runup to the deal he found out it was more complicated than that, which is why he tried to bail on the deal. In the end he decided to go through with it to avoid the court drama, because hey had $44bil anyway and why not, and now he's just flailing trying to figure out what to do with his new toy other than vent his own spleen without worrying about the censors himself. It really isn't more complicated than that.

Legally binding them to the deal

That's how stupid he is.

He's just a really dumb person with a lot of money
And I actually read an article by the Hill, about whether they should lift the rule about being a natural born American so someone like ElonMusty could run for president one day.🤦🏾‍♀️

would require a Constitutional amendment, which ain't likely to happen real soon. And if they couldn't do it for Ahnuld they ain't doin' it for Elon.

BTW watched Moonraker again Monday night and if Elon Musk isn't Hugo Drax, I don't know who Drax was supposed to be based on. Even if Elon wasn't born yet when they made that movie.

I always thought the blue check was for the safety of the users of the site. Without verification, anyone can claim to be someone they are not. Is he now suggesting that unsuspecting users should be able to be scammed or receive misinformation from random scammers? Also, many people only go on Twitter to read what the celebrities are saying. Celebrities make Twitter what it is and as Stephen King said, Twitter should be paying them.

Elon must not be aware that many EXTREMELY popular social platforms have come and gone over the past 25 years. Facebook was the first platform to break that pattern of becoming irrelevant within 5 years, and Twitter has also had a nice run, but I think we're witnessing the end of it. Hopefully the original Twitter founders will come up with a great alternative soon. Elon wasted his 44 billion. Good riddance.

SpaceX and Tesla will be looking for bailouts within 24. Months. Buyers may hope for a fire sale.
