They have made us so angry in the past, but they MASSIVELY came through for us when we needed them this election cycle!

But at times afterward he made some bone headed (IMHO) statements regarding the GOP. I have always, however, believed he has our best interests at heart. He was back in his old school form these last few weeks. I hope he lives to be 100 years old.

Up until 2006, Mathews was a right winger. Another Joe Scar.

The day after the repubs lost congress in in 2006, Mathews was a changed man.

In the 2004 election, during a televised republican rally, I saw him forcibly rip the mic from a petite NOW (Nat Org Women) representative who dared offer an anti-Bush comment. He passed the mic to her for her comment then just ripped it away!

Never liked him ... but I watch his show nearly every day now. <sigh>
