Will's spirit is especially strong with me tonight.

(75 posts)Do you know the Richardson family?
Amy and Christine probably still live there.
I was married to the youngest daughter, Noelle, who died in 2005.
She would have loved to hear of this voter turnout!

(54,476 posts)I think Mark's seat in Arizona, too, and, I hope CCM in Nevada. I think Fetterman should win in PA, as well as Warnock in Georgia, and I'm hoping for an upset in at least one of other. NC, IA, FL and OH look like long shots, but we may get a better-than-expected win in one of them (my bet would be Ohio or NC, but I'd take anything at this point).
But it is still 4:50 PM back on the East Coast (10:50 PM here), and I have to run down to France very early in the morning, so I won't have much of an idea what's going on until lunch, maybe even after that, and I have work to do. I can't get distracted by goings-on back home, even vital goings-on like these (day job, you see). Maybe the man behind the curtain can even make Abbott go away, who knows?

(50,323 posts)vote that was mostly Sununu. I know turnout was really good in my neck of the woods, about 20 miles or so west of you. I'm afraid we'll be stuck with Sununu, but at least he's not a total raving lunatic.

(171,105 posts)definitely with us in spirit. He thrived on these momentous nights.
My condolences also, Raven. He is sorely missed; I go to the tavern on FB to get an inkling of just how beloved he was.
