With inflation, the Feds tanking the economy, the Russian war, the Saudi's and crime rising
If the Republicans couldn't create a red wave from that, they are in serious trouble

1. I think they also thought that having their media puppets talk about it
as a foregone conclusion would make it magically manifest without them having to do the heavy lifting.

2. Just seeing their fake talking points in your thread title explains why they lost
They tried to spend bullshit into gold. Zero policy just bullshit.
Plus most voters don’t like crazy Q conspiracy theorists. On edit: from Jennifer Rubin, WAPO: https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2022/11/09/midterms-democracy-election-deniers-lose/ Opinion Democracy was on the ballot. And voters knew it. “One big factor for the Democrats’ performance: Up and down the ballot, voters demonstrated that they’ve had enough of election deniers and authoritarian bullies. Again and again, they chose candidates who take their oaths and commitment to democracy seriously.” |

4. +1
We had a serious headwind with all the shit going on. As long as the Republicans continue to go with election-denying Red Hats that promote political violence, I think we have seen their ceiling.
