Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsJohn Ralston just said on MSNBC that there are over a 100,000 mail in ballots left to count in NV
He said this favors Dems and Culinary Union members voted by mail and this could hand the election to Cortez-Masto.

(92,394 posts)because of turnout, but those libertarian voters might vote for walker

(7,529 posts)I am still holding out hope that Warnock can get above 50 percent. If not, the fact Walker won't have Kemp's coattails should help in a runoff.

(7,365 posts)Maybe Libertarians will think of the social issues (abortion, pot, gay rights) more so than the economic ones, which would favor the Dems in getting votes from Libertarians.

(14,971 posts)Didn't think about the Libertarians. I still think Warnock is going to pull it off , though.

(13,778 posts)If that's true, it will be very good for Warnock. Big turnout in Dem areas and weak turnout in GOP areas.

(183 posts)In Georgia, a runoff is considered to be a continuation of the election. So registration is closed to new registrants.

(1,038 posts)precinct. It was sad the number of people we had to turn away cause they were at the wrong precinct & they wouldn't have time to go their correct precinct by 7P.
When looking at the ballots at the end of the night there were several Kemp voters that voted for Warnock and not the libertarian.
Abrams & Warnock won BIG in our precinct.

(1,693 posts)Walker is only going to look worse as a candidate the more he has to campaign, and Kemp will not be on the ballot to boost him.

(8,685 posts)If so that would be a gain of about 30,000 votes so that should be enough to put her over the top... barely.
Fingers crossed!
