I think all U.S. congresspeople should have to wear a ballcap displaying the logo of the company or industry of their largest campaign contributor. This should include unofficial dark-money contributors.
They should also have to wear NASCAR-style jumpsuits with logo patches of their top 10 contributors anytime they are acting in an official capacity.
C-SPAN should have a running chyron for each member they show on-screen that displays these top donor's logos.
If someone is beholden to the fossil fuel industry, they should have to wear rubber replicas of one of the Koch brothers' testicles dangling from their chin at all times.
When introduced on the floor to speak, the introduction should be, "The floor belongs to the gentlewoman/gentleman from so-and-so whose time is sponsored by _____."
Maybe, just maybe, if reps were forced to display this information for everyone to see, things would change.
Probably not, but one can dream.
