What this idiot is trying to say - and the good old New York Times said the same thing today in a long CYA piece - is that Democrats didn't win; Republicans lost. In other words, Democrats just got lucky while the GOP blew it.
It's a variant of the same old mantra that everything is bad news for Democrats.
