Florida Sen. Rick Scott called the 2022 midterms a 'complete disappointment'

Sen. Rick Scott, the head of the campaign arm to elect GOP senators, on Friday called the 2022 midterm election results a "complete disappointment" for the Republican Party as so-called red wave failed to materialize.

The Florida lawmaker told Fox News host Sean Hannity that GOP voters simply did not turn out in sufficient numbers on Election Day to counteract Democratic voters across the country.

Hannity, who featured many GOP candidates on his program this year, questioned the perception of 2022 being a marquee year for Republicans.

"Where did all this pie-in-the-sky talk about a wave and a tsunami election come from? Because I never saw it," Hannity said.

Scott should know all about disappointments, being one himself.

Nan was not a good candidate. The Mayor of Cincinnati would have been better.

But you would also have to live in the state to see the corruption oozing from that party. Million dollar private school scandals, always a promise to prosecute, never done. House Leader involved in 61 million dollar energy bribe, that DeWine signed. Changed when the bribe came out. Choosing crooks to over see the power grid. Gerrymandering, ignoring the law to do that. Naming himself and flunkies to the independent commission we voted on.

I think you are going on appearance's on Nan. She rebuilt Dayton after the GM Disaster.. she was totally honest. Your judgement of her is totally wrong. I know her.

I was referring to the comment about DeWine being the most unlikable repub Governor out there. I can think of several who are as bad or worse.

approval rating and was still re-elected. That was why I was never in doubt that DeSantis would be re-elected. These fools adore him. I can't for the life of me understand how anyone could like that fascist buffoon.

And what did he do with it? Less than nothing. They lost a seat, and probably won't pick up any.

But it's not his fault. Nope. Nothing to do with him. It was the GOP voters not turning out. It's their fault. Nothing he could have done about that. Not, for example, communicate with them effectively by spending money to do so.

When he was Governor! They put him in charge of the RNC money?

Michael Steele is laughing his head off. The RNC gave him a hard time because he wanted his clothes paid for for all his appearances.

And no one is more incapable of self-evaluation. Hannity "never saw any tsunami coming", although he had been predicting it for weeks and pre-conditioning Fox viewers that it was a done deal. Hopefully, some of the "disappointment" will translate into disillusion.

your social security? Oh wait, you already stolen/got your social security, plus from what I heard, your own party is questioning your handling of gop finances during this current election cycle, being that the funds entrusted to you were already gone/spend/missing?
