Steny Hoyer steps aside from leadership, as well, gives nod to Hakeem Jeffries for Democratic Leader

Breaking: Leader Hoyer just announced he will NOT seek elected leadership in the 118th Congress. He, like Speaker Pelosi, will remain in Congress.

AND he adds: "I am proud to offer my strong endorsement to Hakeem Jeffries for Democratic Leader."

I stand in my white pants suit and defend my assertion. A woman in high heels ripping up a SOTU speech while sitting on the dais certainly has balls (another word for courage first coined by the British during WWI).

In no way or in no manner is that term demeaning to a woman nor in any world of debate and description does it even come close to meaning women want balls.

Having balls, is a world of difference from wanting balls.

You don’t have to have balls to have balls. Right?

I think it shows that our caucus is motivated by service not ego I think it will be valuable to have their experience and advice.

He must have heard me the other night from the back of the hall. I mean, the dude's still got it - was even dancing at one point. But, it's time for some new leadership. Hakeem Jefferies is an awesome choice!

A few days ago I saw a clip of him giving a speech and was very impressed. In some ways his speaking skills remind me of Barack Obama.
