5. Risks and downside to capitalists means lower "profits." The operative word is PROFIT.

When i was growing up downside meant "loss" not lower "profit" Then when a business broke even it wasn't a catastrophe just meant we owners worked harder and grew our business to profitability.

When your "profit" falls from RECORD HIGHS it's not a loss.

Even if they believe such foolishness, saying it out loud or writing it down is monumentally stupid.
Every labor issue results in some degree of public relations. This type of thing could shift opinion toward the workers which is the opposite of what the carriers want.
A stupid, self-inflicted wound, and that's ignoring the fact that it's complete nonsense.
