Well, I have a "new rule".....

All the idiots posting election conspiracy theories cannot be allowed to do so until they have a thorough understanding of full election processes for whatever locality they're accusing of "fraud."

Seriously, I've been reading some of the fact-check sites and most of the conspiracy crap out there is very obviously posted because they have absolutely no idea how the election process works.

happened. Personally, I think that they shouldn't never be allowed to ever run again, being that they literally want to take votes away from the rest of us, and never ever having any evidence to back up their so-called claims.

However, it might require a COnstitutinal Amendment. I'm pretty sure the constitution says that the only qualifications which can apply are those it lists for each Federal elective office.

The Fourteenth Amendment probably applies, but since there isn't s Civil War (a shooting war with uniforms) there needs to be a standrd for whatconstitutes proof a person engaged in insurrection.

"Dems are going from precinct to precinct & voting multiple times." This from a man who didn't know what a poll book or provisional ballot were. Makes me wonder if he ever voted before.

One man claimed that dem organizations printed out millions & millions of ballots & mailed them to people who didn't request them. When I tried to explain the scope of getting the correct ballot to every voter, he said, "If people are getting different ballots then that's fraud right there."

You can't debate stupid.

Most of them have no idea how the election system works. If they did, they'd realize how truly rare any fraud is and even then, it is often just a misunderstanding, not actual fraud.

I have a feeling that many of these people never even voted until recently. I even wonder if some vote at all.

young people, either, they're in their 50s and 60s. And it correct to realize they don't know voting functions. They mailed their ballots in.

So many of them appear to basically be apolitical. They just transitioned from reality TV to Fox News and instantaneously became political "experts". Every since Nixon, republican politicians have catered to politically disinterested people to get votes. It was inevitable that it would eventually come back and bite them in the ass.

They got tired of the rhetoric and empty promises and started to hold their representatives accountable. Then THEY ran for office and started to take over the party that had deceived them for so many years. The party should have seen it coming.

I've been a member of the Electoral Board in my red, rural VA county. Now that our governor is a Republicans, there are two Republicans on the Board with me.

During the run-up to the midterm election a guy stopped by our Registrar's office demanding to search the office for "the thousands of Democrat ballots, voting machines made in Venezuela, and harvested absentee ballots." I stood back while the new Republican member dealt with him.

I cheered when the guy left with his ass handed to him by our new Republican member.

Is to say stupid shit about something you know nothing about. However, most of the election crap is started by people who absolutely know better, and are doing so to dupe their constituents. The morons then just follow along, because it is what they want to believe. No amount of fact or knowledge will impact their choice to believe the crap.
