5. While I fully understand the importance of rail transportation

I am not really comfortable with Democrats taking the position of strike breaking. We have historically been the pro-labor party.

I don't recall sick time being a problem when train crews were larger. They could deal with a worker calling in, but now that a crew is only 2 or 3 a sick worker can mean a train cannot leave the yard.

I get the issue with paid sick leave but if Joe thinks this is the best deal we can get then I am ok with it.
