The constitution was written to protect us from people like Trump.

That's why Trump wants to get rid of it. This simple, basic, easy to understand truth cannot be grasped by Trump voters. I have no idea how people can ignore, not understand this. What has happened to their brains can only be explained by mental health experts.

Not being able to grasp Trump is a danger to our country, to the Trump voters themselves can be compared to this.

Not having the ability to understand fire can burn you. What in the hell happened to these people?

that protects the country from bad political choice. And in fact, it's hard to imagine how it could - while still staying true to democratic principle.

Being able to vote for the predatory, the criminal, and the clearly unqualified (along with the good and virtuous) is more or less the essence ...

And that is the rock upon which this (and other democracies) may eventually founder. But that is ultimately the thing called democracy.

is the moral rot of their brain. The big traitor and his 1-6-21 followers on the ground and in government have this problem eating away their morality, integrity and position(s). Their leader is the perfect example. Just to pick two egregious transgressions, 33 thousand plus lies during his 4 years in the highest office in this land. And his TOTAL disregard for members of our military. Cowardice personified by the ex. He metaphorically spat on Gold Star families. Normandy? God, I hated him for that!

rant finished, hope I don't offend the author of the post or any others.
