DNA is more commonly associated with cum than shit. "Blowing him" is pretty much synonymous with "kissing his ass". There's the obvious Monica Lewinsky example of acquiring a former President's DNA.

Given the general theme of other Lindsey Graham jokes, the subtext is definitely there. But, I don't perceive the general Lindsey Graham jokes as being anti-gay in intention. I think they're more about ridiculing someone who is a hypocritical sell out in a party that wouldn't accept him if it was known that he was gay (if he is).

If LGBTQ people are offended by the jokes, I respect their opinion and don't need to engage in them, but it hasn't been my perception that they're meant to ridicule gay people in general.
